Weekly Yoga classes on:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 3:30pm – 5pm at the yoga shalla

Price : 35,000rp per person

• Yoga classes can be cancelled if lack of numbers or public holidays
• It is best not to eat food at least two hours prior to the class
• Wear tight fitting yoga clothes or comfortable clothing
• Yoga mats are supplied



Event: Full Moon, New Moon Puja as well as Kliwon Days on the Balinese Calendar.

Time: Puja starts around 7:30pm and finishes usually late

Dress code: Sarong, Sash and top covering shoulders (preferably white)

The Ashram disciples dance and chant the sacred songs of Jnana Buda Siwa as well as do prayer with short meditation. If you wish to join our Puja and you are a new visitor please come to the ashram shop to pick up a sarong rental or purchase a sarong if you dont have one. Please request guidance into the ashram or e mail us.

Ashram Munivara only hold Puja on Banyu Pinaruh & Pagerwesi as part of the Saraswati celebrations
Please Note:
Ashram Munivara does not hold Puja on Saraswati Day due to other events at another location. Puja will be held on Banyu Pinaruh (the day after Saraswati) as well as Pagerwesi at Ashram Munivara and is part of the Saraswati celebration.


DAY OF SILENCE : 7th March 2019

Ashram Munivara hold a Nyepi Retreat annually every Balinese New Year around March.

Retreat Dates: 5th -8th March 2019

The Nyepi Retreat is a 4 day retreat. There is one full day of silence, fasting and meditation on the Nyepi day, the following morning is Agni Hotra and closing of the retreat at 5am.

Annual Anniversary celebrations for Jnana Buda Siwa at Ashram Munivara are held every year on the 9th,10th,13th and 17th July. There are a series of ceremonies held during our Holy Month of July which celebrate Jnana Buda Siwa at Ashram Munivara.

Dress code: Ashram dress code is required as it is a formal event and time schedules can be subject to change.

White sarongs can be rented or purchased at the Ashram shop.

Individual Guests or Retreaters: Guests or retreaters can stay at the Ashram’s Student House any time during the year, subject to room availability and activities. Guests and retreaters have the opportunity to participate in Ashram activities and spiritual practices either together with Ashram members or do self-guided practices.
