New Moon Nyepi (Tilem)
The streets will be full of people the night before nyepi with the parade of the Ogoh Ogoh
Ogoh–ogoh are statues built for the Ngrupuk parade, which takes place on the eve of Nyepi day in Bali, Indonesia. Ogoh–ogoh normally have form of mythological beings, mostly demons.
The Ashram will have a late night puja to start the nyepi retreat for the 9th and finishes at 5am the following day. At Midnight on the 8th strictly no talking and you may choose to fast or eat light. Strictly No cooking on the 9th.
