ROLE OF THE GURU
Satguru is the glorious Guru, the kind Guru who guides you to the Feet of the Supreme Lord. The role of the Guru is to raise your soul that has long been drowned, that has strayed far from happiness. In this age, the souls that have strayed afar no longer recognise their own truth because of their attachment to their own separate world. Anybody who has strayed too far, who is all bound up in material existence, becomes a dark soul. When the darkness of your soul can receive no light, your path in life will be filled with obstacles.
Jnana means “knowledge, wisdom”. Buda means “the enlightened” knowledge from inside the Soul (Atman) and when this knowledge is expressed in the physical and you do action outside (you make something from this knowledge) that means Siwa. This is different from what most people know as Sivaism and Buddhism.
The Annual JBS celebrations and main ceremonies will start from the 9th July and goes till the 17th July. Please e mail for other events that may take place during our Holy Month of July at Ashram Munivara.
