Dear Friends

Following the Corona Virus and Government updates we at Ashram Munivara have been advised to close Ashram Munivara to all visitors during this period. Yoga is also cancelled until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and we invite you back to the Ashram when the situation gets better.

    Kuningan & Kajeng Kliwon Puja

    Galungan and Kuningan is celebrated every 6 months on the Balinese calendar. Kuningan is the last day of the Galungan celebrations which goes for 11 days. On this day many bhaktas come to the Ashram because kuningan prayer in the village homes close at midday. Kuningan also falls on the Kajeng Kliwon day. Kajeng Kliwon takes place every third kliwon (15 days). The energy is high so we do Puja (ceremony) on these days. Mother/Sakti energy at kajeng kliwon connects the sun, moon, earth, planets and stars so we receive the Sakti energy of the Universe. This energy makes you very sharp.
