    Abhiseka Lingam Puja JBS Anniversary

    Event: Ganga Cleansing – Puja

     

    • Date: 9th July
    • Time: 4pm and 6pm
    • Dress Code: white sarong and top
    • Formal and neat dress code

    Please e mail for details (sacred ceremony) dress code required. There will be teachings in Indonesian as this is a local event. We will assist but please ask.

    Jnana means “knowledge, wisdom”. Buda means “the enlightened” knowledge from inside the Soul (Atman) and when this knowledge is expressed in the physical and you do action outside (you make something from this knowledge) that means Siwa. This is different from what most people know as Sivaism and Buddhism.

    The Annual JBS celebrations and main ceremonies will start from the 9th July and goes till the 17th July. Please e mail for other events that may take place during our Holy Month of July at Ashram Munivara.

    JBS Celebrations: 9th, 10th, 13th, 11th and 17th July.

    These days are the main Puja celebration days, please see July Events for times and for further information please e mail us.

    NOTE: The only day where we wear yellow dress is on the 13th July which represents the Divine Mother.

    Event: Jnana Buda Siwa Puja

    • Event Details: Morning and Afternoon Puja
    • Time: 7am and 5pm
    • Dress Code: White Ashram attire and formal

    Event Details: Offering of the Satwik food or pure foods.

    New Moon Puja

    Event: New Moon Puja (Tilem)

    On the 15th day after the full moon the moon becomes invisible in the sky- this is the dark night of the moon. When there is new moon the sun is on the bottom of the planet and you sit on top of it, so straight away you get connected with the Sakti power or kundalini through the base chakra. At new moon the kundalini is able to rise more quickly.
